Cheryl M. Danton
Cheryl Danton is the managing director at the University of Chicago, Social Behavioral Sciences IRB. Her interests include AI and data ethics. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, Cheryl was a senior IRB analyst at the Yale Human Research Protection Program and held clinical research associate and project coordinator roles at Yale University. She has also served as an independent IRB consultant and IRB committee member for academic institutions and health systems. She has received bioethics training and holds a certificate in applied data science, a master’s of health science (MHS) in medical laboratory science, and a bachelor of arts (BA) in psychology.
