Article Proposals
Katina welcomes proposals from authors interested in contributing to any of our three sections: Resource Reviews, which provides critical reviews of products and resources for the information industry; Open Knowledge, which addresses the evolving roles of libraries and librarians and their contributions toward an open knowledge ecosystem; and the Future of Work, which offers practical insight into careers and organizational development.
We encourage prospective authors to familiarize themselves with the content of the publication before submitting a proposal. Our readership is broad and varied in their level of experience in the industry, from early career to advanced management level and beyond. Our goal is to provide easy-to-understand, engaging, informative, and accurate content that will be of general interest to the entire library and scholarly communications community.
Articles typically range from 800-2,500 words. For each article that is accepted for publication, authors will be paid an honorarium of $75.
If you wish to contribute to the Resource Reviews section, please nominate a reviewer or suggest a product for review.
If you wish to contribute to the Future of Work or Open Knowledge sections, please submit your proposal using this form.
Our editors will give your proposal careful consideration.
