Emily Choynowski
Emily Choynowski is the chief academic officer at Knowledge E, which provides scholarly content, academic publishing solutions, manuscript preparation support, and capacity-building services to a wide range of government organizations, funding bodies, and academic entities across the globe. She is also the co-founder and director of the Forum for Open Research in MENA, working with key regional stakeholders to promote the development and implementation of open science policies and practices across the Arab region. Meanwhile, as an independent scholar working in the field of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British literature and culture, Emily serves as director of The Byron Society (a UK-based literary charity), regularly publishes in leading journals, presents at conferences, and gives lectures at schools, museums and universities across the world. In addition, as well as serving as an editorial board member for a Scopus-indexed journal, a university press, and an academic book series, Emily also sits on the boards of various international scholarly associations and societies working to advance research development and promote equitable research practices.
