Dasapta Erwin Irawan
Dasapta Erwin Irawan completed his PhD in hydrochemistry in volcanic areas in 2009 at Indonesia's oldest engineering university, Institut Teknologi Bandung. As a lecturer and researcher at his alma mater, he has built his career in eco-hydrogeology and hydrochemistry. His research focuses on using multivariate analysis to understand how water moves beneath the surface, driven by his interest in charts and patterns. Most of his work involves field measurements and some computer coding. In his spare time, he explores open-source apps (including R) and scholarly communications. He believes the advancement of science relies on collaboration, transparency, and the willingness to share.
