Brian Keith
Brian W. Keith is dean of the Mary J. Booth Library at Eastern Illinois University, where he provides strategic, fiscal, and organizational leadership for the university’s academic library and other innovation programs. His work focuses on strengthening research support, cross-campus partnerships, and the library’s role as shared academic infrastructure for teaching, scholarship, and student success. He previously served in senior leadership roles at the George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida and helped lead major initiatives including the Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC). His scholarship explores leadership, decision-making, changes in scholarly communications, and the future of work in academic libraries.
