Alwaleed Alkhaja is the head of open access and copyright at the Qatar National Library, where he manages the library’s open access program and oversees copyright-related matters. Throughout his academic and professional career, he has taken on various roles in open access publishing and open science. He serves on the boards of Creative Commons and the Global Sustainability Coalition for Open Science Services (SCOSS) and is a member of the advisory board for the Forum for Open Research in MENA (FORM).
